Terms & Conditions of Booking and Cancellation Policy

RISE + SHINE does not offer refunds for the deposit or partial payments, except in the unlikely case of cancellation of the entire event by the organisers for which we will make a full refund.

You will not be responsible for the remainder of your payment if you cancel your booking with us before the 30th of September 2023, but you will forfeit the deposit and any partial payments you have made up until that date.

 

This means that RISE + SHINE will not refund any partial payments made before the cancellation date. By making a booking and accepting these terms and conditions you agree to be held responsible for the entire cost of your booking if you cancel after the 30th of September 2023 deadline.

 

RISE + SHINE will not be held responsible for any expenses you incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, positive covid test, extended lodging and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip. 

In the event that we agree to issue a refund, please note that we can only refund the original payment method you used to make your booking with us.

 

When is the latest I can submit payments?

Your payment plan if you selected one depends on your time of booking and currently extends until November but may extend until December. You will still be liable for all payments if you cancel after the 30th of September 2023 deadline, whether you have paid in full or through a payment plan. No payments are refundable after the 30th of September 2023 deadline.

 

Travel Cancellation Insurance

It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please consider purchasing travel cancellation insurance. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. Safety Guidelines

We value all guests’ safety, experiences and personal boundaries. We expect our guests do the same. The following offences are intolerable, and will result in your being asked to leave the event without question and without a credit for your stay at the sole discretion of the organisers:

a. Sexual harassment toward any of the guests or staff.

b. Behaviour that puts your own or others’ safety at risk.

c. Repetitive disruptive behaviours inside or outside group activities that creates discomfort for other guests

d. The use of illegal substances/drugs of any kind taken or consumed at the hotel premises

e. Theft of any kind or vandalism

f. Any kind of abuse towards our staff.
